Required Skills:
Experience in creating the automation framework from scratch.
Estimating and developing testing strategies test plan and artifacts.
Tracking new requirements for the projects and deliverables.
Single point of contact for all the deliverables and testing for the team.
Reviewing the test case and automation scripts of QA engineers
Excellent working knowledge in at least one object oriented programming language or scripting language such as C# Java Python.
Excellent knowledge on automating web application using Selenium.
Contributes to framework development and maintenance by implementing best coding practices knowledge harnessing and sharing.
Good knowledge with SQL knowledge.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Knowledge of Confluence/Jira.
Knowledge on Defect management and Test Management tools.
Excellent analytical and problem solving Skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
Responsibilities:
Enhance automation framework designs/updates/improvements automated test data solution
Maintaining the Regression test suite and providing automation test report weekly.
Provide ideas and learnings and actively drive advancement of both automation practice and tooling
Promptly escalate issues which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence and report same to Project Lead/technical lead
Work with testers developers test leads test managers BAs scrum masters to plan design and execute test automation to ensure committed delivery timeframes are met
Record test results report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria
Debug automation test case failures to understand test objective requirements
Supports other test engineers to ensure knowledge sharing and standardization
Prepare defect tracking and provide reporting to your stakeholders and test manager.
Desired Skills:
Good knowledge on Jmeter/Security testing tools
Knowledge of API testing and web services automation (SOAP/REST).
- Demonstrable understanding and/or working knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) Continuous Delivery (CD).
