The Role:

Based in London or New York the Head of Global Demand Generation will drive the strategy and of marketing initiatives aimed at generating leads and driving customer acquisition. You will manage a team of highly skilled and datadriven marketers who develop and implement innovative campaigns across multiple channels optimize the customer journey and leverage analytics to enhance performance. Your partners will include sales leadership product Enterprise marketing campaign and events marketing to ensure alignment and maximize the effectiveness of demand generation will leverage your advanced understanding of market trends client behavior and the competitive landscape to set a clear and inspiring demand generation vision that aligns with the enterprise and division strategy.

The Impact:

In this pivotal role you will significantly shape the companys global demand generation strategy directly influencing lead generation and customer acquisition efforts. By guiding the marketing team in the development and of innovative multichannel marketing campaigns you will have a direct influence driving demand for our solutions across key markets. Your ability to optimize the customer journey and leverage analytics will drive higher conversion rates and improve overall marketing performance. Collaborating closely with sales leadership and crossfunctional teams you will ensure cohesive strategies that align with business objectives. Your success will be measured by the growth in qualified leads the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and the overall contribution to revenue growth.

The Career Opportunity:

The Head of Global Demand Generation will report to the Global Head of Marketing and sit on the Marketing Leadership Team. Your innovative ideas and opportunity to directly influence revenue may provide you with multiple opportunities to engage with the broader Commercial Senior Leadership Team. Further growth opportunities may include partnering crossfunctionally on key strategic projects and presenting your insights to senior leadership and other divisions as relevant.

You will have exposure to many aspects of the business as well as influential investors and financial market stakeholders which will further enhance your knowledge and understanding of the fastevolving and everchanging credit markets to fuel your decisionmaking around your leadgenerating will lead highly visible multidisciplinary project teams or initiatives across the organization influencing stakeholders to support key initiatives.

The Team/Business:

The Marketing team is an inclusive professional and wellregarded team within S&P Global Ratings. The culture is inclusive and flexible with expectations of high performance and accountability. The Marketing team has a variety of experience in Product Campaign Operations/Analytics Digital and Events Marketing creating a rich base of resource and knowledge for you to learn from and contribute to. Your colleagues in the Sales Product Market Outreach Communications Analytical and Research & Development teams have deep expertise in the capital and credit markets alongside focus areas including private markets emerging markets sustainable finance and decentralized finance. You will also partner with Demand Generation colleagues from the other S&P Global divisions to align share best practice and collaborate.

Once fully briefed on accountabilities and expectations you will be given a high degree of independence with ongoing support from the Global Head of will be recognized as an expert and coach others on complex matters leading the team in how to live S&P Global purpose and values and how to connect them to the daytoday work.

Key Responsibilities:

This role is appropriate for someone with either a sales or marketing background. The Ideal candidate will be highly skilled at:

  • Strategy Development:Creating and implementing demand generation strategies that align with overall business goals.

  • Extensive knowledge of the debt capital markets and ratings market (both public and private markets) from both an issuer and investor perspective across all asset classes (both public and private markets) and knowledge of the sustainable bond market and products relevant to that market.

  • Campaign Management: Designing executing and optimizing multichannel marketing campaigns (e.g. email social media content marketing paid advertising).

  • Campaign to Journey Transition: Leading the shift from audiencefocused campaigns to highly personalized journeys based on behaviors.

  • Lead Generation: Developing tactics to attract and convert leads including nurturing campaigns and funnel optimization.

  • Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring the demand generation team fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Analyzing campaign performance metrics to assess effectiveness and ROI and making datadriven recommendations for future initiatives.

  • Collaboration: Working closely with sales campaign events and product marketing and other teams to ensure alignment and support for lead conversion efforts.

  • Budget Management: Overseeing the demand generation budget and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $158550 to $194540. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographic location as well as experience level skill set training licenses and certifications.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Education:Bachelors degree in Finance Business or a related field; MBA preferred. A degree in Marketing would be an advantage but not essential.

  • Experience:An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 15 years of experience in sales or revenue/demand generation roles with deep knowledge of the sales funnel.

  • Leadership Skills:Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g. Pardot Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).

  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation.

  • Creative Thinking: Ability to develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • CrossFunctional Collaboration:Experience working collaboratively across departments including sales product development and senior leadership.

  • Adaptability:Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions and business will demonstrate the ability to make difficult decisions and adapt to changing circumstances.
