Job Description
Join a team thats Changing Whats Possible The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) under MUSC Community Physicians seeks a General Surgical Pathologist in one of our coastal regions outside of Charleston SC.
We are seeking:
- MD or equivalent degree with pathology specialty training and certification by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- Eligible or currently possess medical licensure in South Carolina.
- Experience in fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues clinicians and researchers as well as serving as a resource to technologists at the bench.
- Excellent communication skills work ethic and team player approach to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Sign out of surgical pathology cases including thoracic gastrointestinal general surgical pathology nongyn cytopathology rapid onsite evaluation (ROSE) frozen section and intraoperative consultation and breast oncologic pathology.
- Involvement in tumor boards.
- Shared oncall coverage
