What you will do:
Perform installation integration commissioning and servicing of access control systems CCTV intrusion alarms and intercom systems. Knowledge of Lenel CCure and Kantech products is required.
How you will do it:
- Install and inspect equipment to meet customer expectations and manufacturer specifications.
- Field coordination and communication system programming integrations commissioning AHJ testing and training on new system installations
- Evaluate and diagnose equipment that requires servicing as well as troubleshooting potential field wiring problems
- Provide specific solutions and recommendations to customers on the most efficient and costeffective method in restoring a specific system back to normal condition
- Manage assigned Electronic Systems service calls regarding field labour hours estimated
- Customer satisfaction through coordination response to customer requests and problems
- Prepare reports on daily activities
- May be required to work overtime
- May be required to work out of town
- Read and understand complicated blueprints diagrams schematics submittals software/system programs and operation/product manuals
- Capable of working in cramped workspaces such as ducts crawl spaces above ceilings etc.
- Required to work at heights Ladders/AWP
- Must adhere to all JCI safety policies and procedures
- Complete mileage and monthly vehicle reports in a timely manner
What we look for:
- Experience / comfortable with Servers and different operating systems
- Working knowledge of personal computers (Windows 10 Server 2016 and Microsofts suite of Office software
- Working knowledge of IT network systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools and test equipment such as multimeters digital analyzers battery analyzers frequency meters decibel meters and communication devices as required
- Able to carry and move equipment/tools weighing up to 40 pounds
- Demonstrated working knowledge of electricity and electronics
- Experience with installation and service of access control CCTV intrusion and intercom systems
- Minimum high school/trade school graduate 2year Associate degree in a technical field involving electronics or computers preferred
- Ability to effectively work independently
- Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs
- Demonstrated high level of customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in an environment that may involve climbing ladders and scaffoldings with equipment
- Ability to work on Aerial Work Platform
- Ability to read and understand complex building architectural and electrical documents as well as project plans specifications schedules and equipment installation/operation/troubleshooting manual.
- Security experience with CCure 9000 Kantech Genetec Lenel/S2 Milestone Exacq Avigilon DSC Commend AIPhone
- CCURE 9000 or Genetec certification is considered a strong asset.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $3040 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.
