The Boost Foundation team is building a highly scalable frontend application framework and supporting services using the most bleeding edge technologies. We are looking for a high caliber Sr. Software Development Engineer to lead delivery of projects with strategic significance and high exposure. In this initiative we will tackle some of the most intriguing problems in software architecture and modern UX development. This role requires deep technical expertise excellent leadership skills and the ability to hit the ground running. You will collaborate closely with UX designers product managers customers and other engineers to help define the scope of the product. You will be counted on to be an influential voice in decisions related to system architecture feature development and product strategy. 5 years of noninternship professional software development experience
5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team

5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $151300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
