The Electrification & Automation (E&A) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.
The Siemens Industry Inc. distribution center in Roebuck SC is seeking aMachine Operator Level 2 to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic position offers the chance for you to grow contribute and learn as far as your growth mindset takes you.
Shift Hours: 10pm6am MondayFriday (occasional overtime on Saturdays if needed)
Hourly Pay:$25.75/hr plus $1.25 shift differential

Responsibilities
- Work in a team.
- Work directly with or under the direction of a Group Lead and/or Supervisor.
- Read blueprints and spot welds steel & galvanized parts
- Work with ISO/work standards.
- Complete confirmation documentation via SAP data management system or DMM.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work area to ensure functioning and safe working conditions and wears appropriate PPE.
- Access and utilize various documents with the use of computers associated with the manufacture of products in assembly for completion of confirmations (e.g. Quality and Safety Documents Operating Instructions etc.
Youll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Prior experience / knowledge in automatic saws / one stamp die presses.
- Ability to read blueprints and apply basic shop math digital literacy and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools
- Speak read write and comprehend the English language
- Work standing for the duration of the shift
- Reach grasp lift 50 lbs and push/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
- Stoop bend squat crawl and climb
