Department Information

Enrollment Management includes five divisions Admissions Student Financial Services Registrar Military and Veteran Success and Extended Studies. These units all function as part of a larger unit to reach inform and support potential incoming and current students at CSU Pueblo. The division of Enrollment Management is committed to supporting the university as a comprehensive provider of services to prospective and current students parents of students and past students. With this Enrollment Management functions to support our varying student population and the barriers they may face while attaining their education.

Colorado State University Pueblo has been awarded a threeyear grant from the U.S. Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) to Reduce Domestic Violence Dating Violence Sexual and Stalking on Campus Program. The purpose of the grant is to establish a comprehensive coordinated traumainformed and culturally relevant program to prevent and respond to domestic violence dating violence sexual and stalking on campus.

Description of Job

Colorado State University Pueblo is hiring an OVW Project Director who will provide daytoday management oversight and administration of this program. The Project Director will be responsible for coordinating the planning and implementation of program requirements as well as supporting all grantrelated activities.

This is a .75 FTE 30 hours/week) position funded by the OVW grant that is set to expire 9/30/2026. Position continuation may be possible with grant renewal. This position will receive guidance from the OVW Taskforce. This position reports to the Director of Diversity Equity and inclusion.


Primary Duties
Cultivate and sustain collaborative relationships with a wide array of stakeholders (staff faculty students community members and community partners) in order to accomplish project goals. Work with key stakeholders to assess the needs of students and the larger campus communityincluding historically marginalized and underserved communitiesto gather information to inform project activities and implementation.

Develop and maintain communication and informationsharing processes to ensure that project partners are informed and have access to key program information and materials. Maintain detailed documentation of award documents and project deliverables. Collect and organize relevant institutional data to submit in biannual and final performance reports. Develop and maintain documentation of funding and submit quarterly financial status reports. Ensure compliance with applicable rules regarding approval planning and reporting of conferences meetings training and other events.

Organize and help facilitate training to be attended by the OVW CCR Team andother internal and external partners.

Work closely with the supervisor and other key stakeholders to develop facilitate and maintain the institutions OVW CCR Team. Work collaboratively with the OVW CCR Team supervisor and other key stakeholders to ensure the development and implementation of statutory and programmatic grant requirements and activities. Work with the OVW CCR Team to develop implement and monitor projectspecific strategic plan.

Serve as a point of contact to maintain communication between the campus and the Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women. Adhere to the OVW Training Guiding Principles for any training or training materials developed or delivered including the approval of all materials and publications within specified timeframes.

Participate in required virtual and inperson training and technical assistance as required by the grant program including New Grantee Orientation Training and Technical Institutes webinars cohort calls and calls with OVW Campus Technical Assistance Providers and OVW.

Oversee daily operations and coordinate all grant activities related to administering the OVW Campus Program grant. Grant activities may involve travel.

Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and according to statutory and program requirements of the grant program. Adhere to all relevant federal and state laws and confidentiality guidelines. Monitor and abide by all grant conditions.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication organizational and problemsolving skills
  • Demonstrated commitment and ability to motivate educate and mentor students from a wide range of backgrounds similar to that of Colorado State University Pueblo
  • Experience in a position that required managing budgetary matters deadlines and to analyze and interpret complex materials
  • Previous experience in a position requiring facilitation and leading of training sessions of varying audiences and sizes
  • Experience managing multiple projects to a timely conclusion in a fastpaced environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree from accredited institution
  • Formalized advocate training (law enforcement or communitybased)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of domestic violence dating violence sexual and stalking
  • Strong knowledge of research and best practices as they relate to prevention and/or response for domestic violence dating violence sexual and stalkingspecifically in a college setting
    Experience in project management and facilitation skills
  • Grant management experience
  • Experience in a position that required knowledge and expertise in VAWA crimes
