About the Opportunity
Job Summary
We invite applications for Parttime Lecturer (PTL) positions at the graduate level. We seek a colleague with an interest in teaching immunology for the Cell and Gene Therapy Professional Masters Programs depending upon the programs needs and enrollment.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include the following: review and learn key teaching points within existing instructor guides; be willing to support highquality teaching and standards through preparation of lectures based on course materials provided; facilitate rich respectful debates and discussions in an inperson or online class; provide timely review and grading of assignments with appropriate coaching and feedback to the students; consistently connect with students and their performance; adhere to Northeasterns policies.
Parttime instructors work under the direction of the director and will hold office hours as appropriate.
Qualifications
PhD in immunology or a closely related field and/or an equivalent graduate degree plus at least five years of work experience in biotechnology biopharma pharmaceuticals or related industry. Proven platform skills required as is an open supportive personal style willing to receive assistance and coaching when needed from the faculty.
Prior experience in a diverse higher education institution preferred.
