Glassdoor: Professional Services Manager combines handson technical expertise with leadership responsibilities. This role oversees a small team of direct reports while managing complex enterprise deployments. The ideal candidate excels in mentoring project management and technical problemsolving serving as an escalation point for the team and a key liaison with customers and internal stakeholders. They play a crucial role in maintaining team performance upholding best practices and contributing to the strategic direction of the Professional Services department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship training and guidance to direct reports conducting regular 1:1 meetings and offering constructive feedback.
- Manage and lead complex enterpriselevel deployments serving as a player/coach within the team.
- Act as an escalation point for the Professional Services team resolving complex challenges and liaising with sales teams and customers as needed.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the companys product portfolio and stay current with new technologies and industry trends.
- Lead the onboarding process for new staff within the Professional Services team.
- Coordinate training and mentoring programs for junior team members assessing needs and measuring effectiveness.
- Provide reporting statistics to senior management.
- Lead by example consistently demonstrating and promoting the companys key values.
- Provide regular feedback to upper management on team performance and individual contributors.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the Professional Services department identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Represent the Professional Services team in crossfunctional meetings and initiatives.
- Provide genuine recommendations as to the hiring firing promotion and discipline of subordinate employees to which the Company gives significant weight
- Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
- Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience with web browsers (Chrome Internet Explorer etc.
- 2 year degree preferred
- Strong verbal and written communications
