Attention Expanded Functions Dental Technicians.Are you looking for a great opportunity apply now!
Assists in surgical and dental procedures. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned clinical area.
Job Duties:
- Places and removes dental rubber dams.
- Places and removes dental matrices and wedges.
- Applies cavity liners and bases.
- Places condenses carves and contours amalgam restorations.
- Places and finishes composite resin restorations.
- Places and finishes sealant material.
- Fabricates and cements temporary crowns; selects contours and cements crown forms.
- Performs coronal polishing and applies fluoride and varnishes.
- Selects and cements orthodontic bands and brackets.
- Places temporary restorations.
- Assists during emergency situations.
- Takes impressions of teeth for study models diagnostic casts or athletic appliances.
Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
