Their team has extensive technical knowledge and provides compelling insight and tangible solutions to some of the ICs most complex problems. Their prototype and systems solutions continuously support the warfighter and offer dynamic solutions for cyber and technical security issues our world faces today. They are seeking a Lead Network Engineer to support their Navy project.
A successful candidate will have the following: Bachelors degree and 10 years of experience. Additional experience maybe substituted in lieu of a degree. Familiarity with IT and Network hardware (servers workstations routers switches inline network encryption devices etc.. Experience with both WAN and LAN networks. Handson experience configuring Cisco networking devices including routers and switches using Cisco Command Line Interface(CLI). Knowledge of network security via firewalls. Experience with network testing/troubleshooting software tools. Experience with network testing hardware from vendors. Working knowledge of networking protocols and their implementation. Familiar with modem cybersecurity.
This role requires a TS/SCI CI Poly level government clearance to start. Preference given to candidates with a clearance held by NIWC PAC. This is a full time W2 position with benefits to include 100 paid medical for employee and their family 401K and 4 weeks PTO federal holidays. This work is onsite in San Diego CA. No relocation assistance provided.
