In certain instances due to low enrollment faculty payment will be based on parttime per credit pay and prorated on a 10 per student basis.
Parttime employees also receive some benefits depending on the number of hours worked.

Provide effective and highquality instruction; provide competent student advising; assist with refining and modernizing curriculum to be educationally sound and meet the high standards of the College; and develop curriculum as assigned.
Commit to the philosophy that each individual should be allowed an opportunity to succeed regardless of past experience work as a team member as exhibited by a genuine spirit of cooperation and flexibility establish and maintain positive yet professional interpersonal relationships with students faculty staff and administration take classes in teaching methods curriculum development computer applications and other course work deemed necessary by the chair/dean and embrace and apply the provisions of the Colleges Mission Statement Purposes and Philosophy
Maintain currency in the field of expertise and adopt new teaching methodology as appropriate.
Provide meaningful participation on College committees or organizations and participate in community service opportunities as assigned.
Teach on various campuses/outreach sites at various times including evenings/weekends as assigned along with advising of students.
Use alternative delivery technology (including online) in lecture and laboratory instruction to enhance student learning. If no knowledge of online teaching acquire the knowledge and skills to do so.
Initiate and maintain professional relationships with external agencies as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree from an accredited school college or university.
Must possess a current unrestricted EMT Basic EMT Advanced or EMT Paramedic Certification.
Minimum of two years of EMS experience
Must hold BLS Instructor CPR certification or qualify for the same within one month of hire.

Shall hold or qualify for a fulltime postsecondary vocational credential inHealth Occupationsissuedby Aims Community College CTE Office. Contact Landon Loyd for the application at. This will require at least two 2 years 4000 hours) of approved experience inEMS.The preference ishours of work experience or a combination of work and teaching experience.
This position requires the use of a company vehicle and/or personal vehicle for business travel. The selected candidate must successfully pass an MVR and be insurable under Aims insurance.
Must be able to pass a preemployment postoffer urine analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in related fields.
Experience in a community college teaching environment curriculum writing and alternative delivery instruction.
Five years or greater of patientoriented EMS experience.
Computer literacy (Word PowerPoint D2L).
Evidence of prior teaching/training in health occupation related area(s).
