The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Every day we rise to the challenge to make a difference and heres how the Purchasing Specialist (umowa na zastpstwo) role will make an impact:
- Supporting incountry sourcing activities and drive costeffective strategies
- Developing long and shortterm purchasing strategies
- Tendering and negotiating with suppliers
- Handling claims
- Providing guidance and regular training to employees as appropriate
- Identifying risks gaps setting standards
- Monitoring and effectiveness reviewing exceptions
- Adequate and accurate reporting and administration
- Reviewing agreements from purchasing and business perspective
- Administration of the content available on the purchasing website for Poland
- Managing relevant policies; ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies legal regulations and ethical standards maintaining meticulous documentation for audits
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role were looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications skills and experiences:
- Bachelors degree and/or Masters Degree
- Substantial experience and proven success in a similar role in multinational environment (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry)
- Excellent knowledge of Office suite and proficiency in industry standard procurement systems (for instance SmartSource) knowledge of SAP is beneficial
- Fluency in English proficiency in other EU language(s) is beneficial
- Strong supplier negotiations skills. Understanding of contract terms and conditions
- Excellent communication/relationship building skills
- Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
- Accuracy problem solving planning and organization skills ability to adjust well to dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills
