Detailed Position Information
The Department of Biological Sciences at The University of Alabama seeks an instructor for a 9month nontenure track position. The appointment will be on a threeyear renewable contract subject to annual review with opportunities for teaching additional courses during summer semesters. The successful applicant will teach large enrollment classes in nonmajors Introductory Biology and Anatomy and Physiology with associated labs. Instructors can expect to teach service courses for nonBiological Science majors including Introductory Biology Anatomy and Physiology and associated laboratories but may also assist with or teach courses for majors. In addition the position includes an expectation of participation in academic advising of Biology majors.

Applicants must hold a minimum of an M.S. degree in Biology or related disciplines and have at least 3 years of teaching experience.
