Junior Account Executive Sales & Business Development Automotive Insights

The Role:

Are you a selfstarter with a passion for sales and a resultsdriven mindset S&P Global Mobility is seeking a motivated Junior Account Executive to actively prospect forecast and manage relationships with automakers (OEMs) and national sales companies (NSCs). In this role you will engage with various client personas including strategic planning market representation incentives sales operations marketing parts and service and procurement.

Responsibilities and Impact:

As a Junior Account Executive you will collaborate closely with the Account team to develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan that drives revenue growth by expanding our existing revenue base and identifying new opportunities. Your contributions will focus on S&P Global Mobilitys industry performance dealer network planning and recall offerings for both existing and new clients.

  • Account Management:Oversee account management while supporting new business development efforts ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Sales Pipeline Development:Continuously generate a robust sales pipeline that aligns S&P Global Mobility solutions with customer challenges supporting overall revenue growth in line with quotas.

  • CrossFunctional Collaboration:Work effectively with internal product and consulting teams account management teams marketing and sales operations to drive success.

  • Customer Service Excellence:Deliver outstanding customer service for current products and implement a comprehensive customer retention strategy focused on growth and business development.

  • Project Management:Manage client onboarding and ongoing deliverables ensuring smooth transitions and continuous engagement.

  • CRM Utilization:Maintain realtime sales activity in the CRM platform ensuring uptodate information on all client interactions and opportunities.

  • Voice of the Customer:Collaborate crossfunctionally with peers and colleagues to share best practices and ensure that the voice of the customer is reflected in marketing product operational and decisionmaking processes.

What Were Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in a related field or equivalent work experience; advanced degree preferred.

  • 510 years of sales experience (data/autos) and/or clientfacing experience in areas such as market representation incentives sales operations marketing parts and service and procurement.

  • Proven ability to develop and nurture relationships with clients.

  • Strong understanding of prospect workflows strategies and objectives to provide solutionbased approaches for successful outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Selfmotivated and comfortable working remotely.

  • Proficient in using sales CRM software to track opportunities and customer activity.

  • Familiarity with sales performance metrics.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision while managing multiple tasks.

  • Ambitious driven and motivated with a desire for professional growth and success.

  • Highly organized detailoriented and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
