Position Number:129020Position Title (Classification Title):Chemistry Lecturer 129020 and 129500Working Title:LecturerJob Summary:The Chemistry Department at the University of West Florida in Pensacola FL is seeking two candidates for a fulltime Lecturer appointments starting August 2025. The successful applicants will be expected to provide exceptional instruction at the undergraduate level work with current staff to support laboratory coordination and perform other duties as required. Teaching assignments will be in the areas of general and organic chemistry and the candidates specialization area.DepartmentChemistryFLSA:ExemptMinimum Qualifications:The candidate must have a PhD in Chemistry from an accredited institution. The appointee engages in teaching service and other related activities but is not eligible for tenure.Position Qualifications:PhD in Chemistry from an accredited institution with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching and service.Preferred QualificationsThe position requires exceptional instruction at the undergraduate level. Teaching assignments will be in the areas of general and organic chemistry and the candidates specialization area.Physical Demands:
