The University of Chicagos Department of Pathology in the Biological Sciences Division invites applications for a fulltime faculty position in Immunology. Applicants research may approach immunology from any combination of organismal cellular molecular computational or genomic perspectives in animal models or in humans in health or disease conditions. Appointment will be at the rank of tenuretrack Assistant Professor.Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.
The Immunology faculty in the Department of Pathology are members of the interdepartmental Committee on Immunology which provides a collaborative and highly multidisciplinary environment for research and training. The University is also committed to providing a strong environment for faculty mentoring and career development. Competitive research space and startup funding are provided. Most university divisions and centers are contained within one compact campus in Chicagos vibrant Hyde Park neighborhood.
Prior to the start of employment qualified applicants must have a doctoral degree or equivalent.
