Job Description:

Provide instructional support to the primary instructor for the Nurse Aide program.
Instruct small group sessions to demonstrate skills and coach student skills performance in compliance with studentfaculty ratios.
Follow College and department procedures for student evaluation and grading.
Evaluate student performance and document student skill proficiencies. (Evaluation occurs both informally through skills checkoff activities and formally in skills evaluation sessions.
Present individual topic didactic instruction as neededdoes not present majority of course material.
Perform or provide student supervision of the repair and maintenance of equipment.
Assist with the setup and tear down of skill stations.
Assist the primary instructor with assuring compliance with outside agency regulations
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree from an accredited school college or university.
Must possess a current unrestricted RN or LPN/LVN license.
Minimum of two years nursing experience in caring for the elderly and/or the chronically ill of any age required.
Evidence of prior teaching/training in health occupation related area(s).
Must hold CPR certification or qualify for the same within three months of hire.
Shall hold or qualify for a fulltime postsecondary vocational credential inHealth Occupationsissuedby Aims Community College CTE Office. Contact Landon Loyd for the application at. This will require at least two 2 years 4000 hours) of approved experience inNursing.The preference ishours of work experience or a combination of work and teaching experience.

Will have attended the Train the Trainer program or have demonstrated competence in teaching adult learners as defined by the Board of Nursing policy.
Must be able to pass a preemployment postoffer urine analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Nursing.
Experience in a community college teaching environment curriculum writing and alternative delivery instruction.
Five years or greater of patientoriented nursing experience.
Computer literacy (Word PowerPoint D2L).
