Responsibilities:
In addition to teaching in the new traditional BSN track on the Macon campus faculty will be expected to contribute to the advancement of the nursing profession and higher education through scholarship and service. Rank and salary are commensurate with professional qualifications and experience. These positions require oncampus presence and are not virtual appointments.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Masters in nursing from an accredited university/college
Unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Philosophy commensurate with Mercer Universitys mission and values
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in nursing or related field
A minimum of two years of fulltime academic experience
Evidence of scholarly productivity in area of expertise
Familiarity with CCNE accreditation standards
