Job Details:
Mercer Universitys Georgia Baptist College of Nursing seeks applications for multiple fulltime 9month nontenure track faculty positions. The faculty will teach in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program on the Macon campus.Responsibilities:
In addition to teaching in the new traditional BSN track on the Macon campus faculty will be expected to contribute to the advancement of the nursing profession and higher education through scholarship and service. Rank and salary are commensurate with professional qualifications and experience. These positions require oncampus presence and are not virtual appointments.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Masters in nursing from an accredited university/college
Unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Philosophy commensurate with Mercer Universitys mission and values
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in nursing or related field
A minimum of two years of fulltime academic experience
Evidence of scholarly productivity in area of expertise
Familiarity with CCNE accreditation standards

Degrees Offered Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Three tracks: traditional BSN track second degree accelerated BSN track and RNBSN completion track) Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner AdultGerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner AdultGerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and PsychiatricMental Health Nurse Practitioner) Doctor of Nursing Practice (BSN to DNP and PostMasters DNP) and Doctor of Philosophy in nursing (BSN to Ph.D. and PostMasters Ph.D.. There are also multiple certificate programs. The Macon campus traditional BSN track will start in Fall 2025.
