JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director Finance the Senior Accountant Maligaksat will be an integral part of the accounting leadership team and provide support to Maligaksat via the Executive Director. The position has responsibilities such as monthly financial reporting balance sheet reconciliations and support for the Controller during quarterly consolidation and annual budgeting processes. Key responsibilities also include overseeing critical accounting processes like bank reconciliations corporate card reconciliation and managing GST/HST returns to maintain financial accuracy. The role extends to collaboration on special projects with the Controller and Director Finance. Success in this position requires adaptability in a changing environment a commitment to Inuvialuit interests and the provision of valuable advice to the Controller and Director Finance. Dedication to excellence and a readiness to handle diverse responsibilities will be essential contributions to the team.
