About the role:
The Business Support Admin Apprentice will provide administrative support to the Parenting Team at Waltham Forest Council while working towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. The role involves assisting with the coordination of parenting programmes managing referrals maintaining records and responding to enquiries from families and professionals. The apprentice will also help organise meetings update databases and ensure smooth communication within the team. This role offers handson experience in administration alongside structured training and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Parenting Team including managing emails and updating records.
Assist with scheduling parenting courses and processing referrals.
Communicate with parents and professionals responding to enquiries.
Work towards the Level 3 Business Administrator qualification attending virtual training one day per week.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word Excel Outlook)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
