Are you ready to join the Uncarrier movementIf so our team is searching for a Sr Software Engineer to work with other software engineers network and systems engineers to craft implement and deploy software which meet customers requirements scales easily removes the limitations of traditional networking solutions and supports deployment in highly available environments. Our team actively participates in architecture and design of various software components passionate about crafting applications that leverage technologies such as virtualization micro services SDN NFV and Big Data platforms and technologies! We work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative understand implications of work and make recommendations for solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
Technical Engineering Services
Architect and implement scalable telemetry solutions using Grafana Thanos Victoria Metrics and other related technologies.
Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of cloud infrastructure and applications.
Drives engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations. Expected to supervise base and associate level engineers as needed.
Understands system protocols how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Expected to independently develop a full software stack. Understands the building blocks interactions dependencies and tools required to complete software and automation work. Independent study of current technology is expected. Interact with system engineers to define system requirement and/or necessary requirements for automation.
Innovation
Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of telemetry systems ensuring minimal latency and high throughput.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in cloud infrastructure and applications.
Contributes to designs to implement new ideas which apply new frameworks to improve an existing or new system/process/service.
Review existing designs and processes to highlight more efficient ways to complete existing workload more effectively through industry perspectives.
Understands the creation of company IPR.
Technical Leadership
Work closely with crossfunctional teams including developers operations and product managers to define telemetry requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices for telemetry and monitoring.
Collaborates with technical teams and uses system expertise to deliver technical solutions.
Continuously learns and teaches others existing and new technologies.
Contributes to the development of others through mentoring or in house workshops and learning sessions.
Technology Strategy
Design and implement data collection strategies to gather metrics logs and traces from various cloud services and applications.
Analyze telemetry data to identify trends anomalies and potential issues providing actionable insights to improve system performance and reliability.
Contributes to new and existing technology options that support business goals.

Technical Writing
Maintain comprehensive documentation of telemetry systems including architecture diagrams configuration details and operational procedures.
Generate regular reports on system performance availability and key metrics for partners.
Writes basic documentation on how technology works. Crafts clear documentation for new code and systems used.
Documenting systems designs presentations and business requirements for consumption and consideration at the manager level.
Education:
- Bachelors Degree Computer Science Engineering or other technical subject area (Required)
Work Experience:
- 4 years technical engineering experience. (Required)
- Well versed in the cloud / container space preferably Kubernetes on AWS/Azure or Onprem along with microservice architecture/distributed systems architecture (Required)
- Experience in at least two of the following languages: Python JavaScript Java Go (Required)
- Understanding of cloudnative/12Factor design principles (Required)
- Experience with CI/CD Pipeline systems like Gitlab/GitHub (Required)
Certifications:
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) (Desired)
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) (Desired)
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Communication: Able to ensure that information is passed on to others who should be kept advised. Express self clearly in conversations and interactions with others. Strong business and technical writing skills. (Required)

Base Pay Range: $113600 $205000Corporate Bonus Target: 15
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At TMobile employees in regular nontemporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a yearend bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
