We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join and expand our Systems Engineering team as the Product Development Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for one of our premier programs in the business unit. In this role you will be responsible for the IPTs cost schedule and technical performance baseline.
This position is onsite in Aurora CO: You Will Do
Multidisciplinary team leadership
Drive strong of the IPT to meet cost schedule and staffing commitments
Monitoring adherence of IPT budgets plans and schedules to support program
Support internal and external program reviews
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
Experience driving cost schedule and/or technical performance
Experience with Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment
Experience with onboarding new work proposals and/or basis of estimate (BOE) development
Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience leading cross functional engineering teams with a proven track record
Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with all levels of program customers and technical leads (IPTs chief engineers architects)
Experience with Risk and Opportunity management
Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation skills
Experience with satellite command and control and operations domain
Experience leading major milestone reviews
Development experience on a government contract
