A Capital Projects Management Associate PWis responsible for performing a combination of the following essential job functions:
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelors degree* in Architecture Landscape Architecture Construction Management Construction Technology Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a closely related fieldAND either:
Option I: Two years of project management experience at the level of County of Los Angeles class of Capital Projects Management Assistant Public Works**;
EXAM CONTENT:
The exam consists of two 2 parts:
Part I: A multiple choice and/or simulation test weighted70 assessing Professional Potential Achievement Coping with Uncertainty Responsibility Working to High Quality Standards Willingness to Learn Working Relationships Analyzing Information Learning Quickly Generating New Ideas Using Time Efficiently Adapting to Change and Deductive Reasoning.
MULTIPLE CHOICE AND/OR SIMULATION ASSESSMENTS ARE NOT REVIEWABLE BY CANDIDATES PER CIVIL SERVICE RULE 7.19.
Part II: A Training and Experience evaluation weighted 30 assessing competencies gained in the following areas:
