$5000 SignOn Bonus
$6266 annually in premium pay
$1 per hour worked in environmental pay

JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Therapist conducts mental health assessments on jail prisoners and develops documents and implements treatment plans. Provides direct treatment and case management services. Works with prisoners families health care providers and security staff to provide and appropriate level of care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Mastersdegree from accredited college or university insocial work psychology marriage and family therapy mental health counseling or other closely related field.
License in one of the following areas: Clinical Social Worker (CSW) Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC) or Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT).
Due to the nature of this position the successful applicant must pass a required preemployment background check and subsequent mandatory background checks in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.
Must be a resident of the State of Utah at the time of hire.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.

I have been fortunate to have worked with all age groups and in many different settings throughout my career as a case manager and mental health therapist. When I was looking for a change from my previous job I figured I was in the 4th quarter of my career and wanted to try something different I could not have imagined the excellent place the Salt Lake County Jail has been to work.
