Job Description

  • An undergraduate degree in the field of Management Business Public Administration or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience Supervisory/management Executive Risk Management and conflict resolution courses with demonstrated competency in community/organizational development
  • A minimum of seven 7 years of progressively responsible experience in a combination of: strategic/operational business planning working with corporate performance measures and budgets policy development and leadership and project management experience

Skills Required for Success:

  • Experience with supporting community public engagement community action plans and committee development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including written research and analytical skills
  • Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven planning and organizational skills including the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in computer software programs including Google Suite
  • Creativity and innovation to inspire new approaches in addressing issues and opportunities
  • Superior interpersonal skills and social intelligence ability to collaborate and integrate with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to negotiate roles and responsibilities shared between the position and external stakeholders
  • Superior spoken and written communications skills (provide presentations facilitate workshops write reports and other documents)
  • Political financial and community leadership acumen
  • Ability to design approaches that are respectful and maximize inclusion and community participation
  • Excellent time management skills

You will lead initiatives to improve operational effectiveness analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement and provide guidance and mentorship to a team. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of City services contributing to a positive experience for both internal teams and the community we serve.
