For more than 90 years The Link (formally known as Macdonald Youth Services) has helped youth and families on a journey to healing hope and better lives. The organization is dedicated to walking alongside children youth and families as an inclusive community strengthening and empowering a sense of being pride and purpose. With over 15 diverse programs The Link has a community of caring staff that works together to provide support through a 24hour crisis line youth resource centers emergency shelters mobile crisis teams specialized foster care healing homes job readiness support and Skills4Life. With a strong foundation within the community and a focus on connection unity and compassion the organization provides a vital link for youth and families in the province of Manitoba.
SUMMARY
The Link: Youth and Family Supports is looking to fill contractor positions as a driver to work within our Supported Visiting Home which facilitates supervised overnight family visits for children and families involved in the Child and Family Services system. This program provides a homelike setting where family visits can take place for 37 days at a time and will have staff onsite 24/7. This role is responsible for transporting families and youth to and from other agencies their homes or other placements to utilize the visitation home.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a driver for the program within a contractor capacity you will be responsible for the following:

SALARY: $18.00 per hour plus mileage per the rate of the Government of Manitoba
Location: Winnipeg MB
HOURS OF WORK: Approximately 30 hours per week 7 days a week
