Job Description:

Job Duties:
Conducts individual inperson and remote tutoring sessions for related school work independently with no guidance.
Approaches tutoring with a learnercentered focus to increase students confidence and success.
Has strong oral and written skills. Communicates with tutoring supervisor to ensure effective tutoring methodologies. Understands and supports the studentteacher relationship.
Maintains accurate and timely documentation of tutoring sessions.
Guides students on how to develop active and independent learning skills.
Adapts strategies for specific learning differences.
Attends and participates in regular oneonone and group training sessions.
Stays up to date on current trends in tutoring practices.
Has experience working with a diversity.
Performs other duties as assigned by the tutoring supervisor.
Adheres to student and staff policies as determined by Early College Academy
Minimum Qualifications:
MA/MS in related field or combination of equivalent education and/or experience or certification in related area.
Two years teaching tutoring or work experience in related content area
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students and colleagues.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students and staff from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to tutor in multiple subjects
