The Opportunity Alliance is looking to fill aResidential Services Medication Technician (Med Tech)position.
Morrison Place with a capacity of 12 adults provides transitional housing and treatment for homeless individuals who have a major mental illness and/or a substance use disorder. Through a structured peeroriented program the staff at Morrison Place assist clients in maintaining recovery while moving from an intensive rehabilitation setting to increased independence and integration into the community.
The Medication Technician (Med Tech) is a technical position overseeing the administration of medications for residents of the program. This position contributes to the accomplishment of the Agency mission through the provision of direct service providing oversight on all documentation required within the medication room. This position manages all aspects of the medication administration within the program implementing all medication rules and regulations. This position attends weekly program staff meetings and participates in other meetings as necessary.
Work is performed reviewed and evaluated under the supervision of the Program Director or their designee.
Schedule: This is a fulltime 40 hour/week position
Location: Onsite in Portland ME.
