Overview
Patient Care TechnicianPowell 5 Neuro Surgical/Trauma Methodist
Shifts: Days; Full and Part Time
Evenings; Full and Part Time
Nights; Full and Part Time
Each shift requires every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation

Powell 5 is a 25bed Neurosurgical Trauma and Orthopedics unit providing services to inpatients and shortterm observation patients. Powell 5 is an interregnal part of the Level 1 Trauma program and holds The Blue Distinction for the care we give patients with total hip and total knee replacements. Our team is committed to a multidisciplinary approach to patient centered care involving achieving best patient outcomes and safe discharge plans. Responsibilities
- PCTs will perform patient care and treatments under supervision of a RN. Provides and documents care including but not limited to activities of daily living mobility specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN.
- Possess the ability to lift move position and transport patients.
- Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.
- Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care patient and employee safety and customer service.
Qualifications
- Must be 16 years old or older.
Minimum of 75 hour Certified Nursing Aid certification preferred. Indicate on your application which CNA certification you possess 75 hour 120 hour or 150 hour)
- Dept of Labor Level III (Medium) Work. Candidates must successfully complete a postoffer preemployment strength and agility test at Medium Level of Work.
