Your role:
Produce or purify stable isotope products according to established protocols provide technical support to others and perform operations in support of the group and department.
- Safely perform operations to meet quality expectations
- Accurately follows written procedures MPRs SOPs and other work instructions and ensure all applicable logbooks have been filled out completely as required
- Maintain clean and keep safe all work areas and equipment
- Immediately report any situation that could compromise safety or quality
- Participates in incident investigations and safety meetings
- Ability to serve on committees to improve department site or company performance. Committees may focus on safety inventory output costs etc.
- Participate in process improvements under the guidance of a Supervisor or Production Scientist
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting standing walking reaching above the shoulder stooping kneeling twisting crouching or crawling for long periods of time
- Ability to talk hear taste and smell
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds unassisted and possibly more poundage with assistance
- Push and pull heavy materials to complete assignment
- Close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment
Who you are:
Basic Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 3 months experience working in manufacturing chemistry lab or service industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Chemistry or Science related Associate degree
- 1 years experience hands on involvement in a chemical environment
- Experience using hand and air tools pumps and an electronic scale and operating material handling equipment
- Basic math skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Eyehand coordination
- Communication skills
- Exemplary attendance and adherence to schedule
- Legible handwriting
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Problem solving skills
