As a key member of our team youll have the opportunity to work with customers deliver and install beautiful trees shrubs and other merchandise and contribute to the success of our company. If youre looking for a rewarding role where you can grow and develop your skills we encourage you to apply!

Hourly Range: $16$18 an hour

Our Company:

Colonial Gardens located in Blue Springs MO was added to our brand family in 2016. Founded in 1969 renovations began in 2017 to create an agritourism destination. It is the garden center reimagined! We offer a greenhouse nursery caf and coffee shop event space and farmers market. Its where plants food and farms connect. Educational classes promoting local agriculture and sustainability as well as private events are also offered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Professionalism Represent yourself positively as an extension of Colonial Gardens on the jobsite. Stays calm under pressure always be polite and show respect to team members and customers
• Time Management Work with a purpose accomplish assigned tasks in a timely fashion and prioritize responsibilities to make sure the job is accomplished efficiently
• Execute installations in a timely fashion complete installation jobs that will reflect positively on you your team and Colonial Gardens.

Essential Job Duties:

• Deliver and install trees shrubs and other merchandise purchased by Colonial Gardens customers
• Work with homeowners to provide satisfaction and success with their installation
• Ensure trucks and trailers are cleaned out and loaded for the next project in an efficient manner
• Observe safety guidelines and protocols

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Landscape Division members are relied upon to work onsite as well as working on projects around the Colonial property
• May also be asked to assist other departments as needed
• May also be asked to travel to other locations to pick up product or supplies

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Thrives in a dynamic fastpaced team environment
• Possesses exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Demonstrates outstanding customer service and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with colleagues and clients
• Ability to implement change as needed with a can do attitude
• Ability and willingness to expand industry knowledge and skills through classroom or OTJ Training

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required: High School Education
• Required: Valid Drivers License
• Required: Class E will be required to pull trailers
• Preferred: Horticulture and Landscaping Experience
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish & English
