Job Description
We are seeking a Linux based System Administratorto support a small 10 person) development role requires a selfmotivated individual who can collaborate with the development team capabilities providers and mission customers to migrate existing applications and services off legacy hardware and onto enterprise compute frameworks.
Desired Skills:
Experience in the design installation configuration and maintenance of computer systems and services
Management of virtual and cloud environments
Collaborate with SW development team to deploy test monitor and operate customer applications and services
Collaborate with Information System Security Engineer and Officers (ISSE/O) to conduct patching and configuration changes required to maintain existing System Security Plans (SSP)
Proven knowledge and experience with Enterprise RedHat Linux IT System Operations Kubernetes Cloud frameworks and containerization required
Knowledge of Sun Sparc & Solaris and Microsoft Windows applications is a plus
Ten 10 years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
Security certification is required.
Security clearance required.
