ELECTRICIAN KEEP THE POWER FLOWING
As an Electrician youre a handson problem solver dedicated to keeping our facility and equipment running effectively efficiently and safely. Youre excited to work with a team of manufacturing professionals in a fastpaced alwayschanging environment. Youre ready to take your career to the next level.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a Preventive Maintenance program to prevent equipment failures. Operate mobile equipment as needed.
- Maintain troubleshoot repair and minimize downtime for:
- Manufacturing and support electromechanical and furnace combustion systems
- Programmable Logic Control Human Machine Interface systems and their companion controls
- Electrical power distribution system including the facilitys production equipment electrical system
- AC and DC motors and drive systems
- Read and understand systems drawings.
- Understand the plant lubrication system and the pipe hydraulic pumping and pneumatic systems and assist Mechanics as needed.
- Test equipment prior to Production Operator use to ensure proper and safe operation.
- Follow safety procedures including wearing PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering Technology or a closely related field or demonstrated equivalent experience required
- Mechatronics Degree preferred
- Able to work in a fastpaced manufacturing environment independently or in a team setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions preferred
