Automotive Repair Parts Manager

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Parts Manager who is energetic upbeat and has a positive attitude.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Receiving parts for vehicles that are in the process
- Entering parts information into work orders
- Managing in house parts inventory
- Initiating and documenting parts and core returns
- Initiating and following up on warranty claims with vendors
- Move vehicles from intake spots to stage for the next step in the process
- Perform quality control on repair orders
- Shuttle guests
- Various other administrative tasks and light janitorial duties as required
- Potential to move into a Service Writer if desired
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills required.
- Adequate typing skills required.
- Proficient phone skills necessary.
- Driving record must be acceptable to our insurance carrier.
- Prior computer and customer service experience required.
- High school education is a plus.
- Good communication skills and a desire and ability to work with the public.
- Previous experience as a counter person at an auto parts store is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
- Efficiently navigate a computer.
- Physically capable to assist delivering parts and move vehicles
