Job Description
Get to Know the Team
The Scaled Ops team develops tools offering detailed insights into platform health and performance aiming to empower marketplace teams to achieve outcomes for Grab through these insights and intelligence.
Get to Know the Role
You will contribute to both frontend and backend development using React and JavaScript/TypeScript for the frontend and Golang for the backend. Additionally youll help build data streams and pipelines.
You will report to the Senior Software Engineering Manager and this role is based onsite in Petaling Jaya.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will collaborate with the development team to build web applications.
- You will participate in the full software development lifecycle following Agile methodology with 2week sprints.
- You will write clean maintainable and efficient code and troubleshoot and debug web applications.
- You will participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to team members.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Open to candidates available from July to December 2025 studying Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Proficient in frontend development with HTML CSS JavaScript and TypeScript and experienced with ReactJS.
- Experience with at least one backend language: Python Golang Java or C.
- Understand RESTful API design and familiar with version control systems like Git.
