Job Description
TRIA is looking to hire a Surgical Technologist to join our surgery center team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
The Surgical Technologist practices under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an autonomous and collegial manner integrating critical thinking skills commitment creativity and caring.
Work Schedule:
.70 FTE MF rotating start times
possible Saturday in December
Required Qualifications:
- Must be certified through one of the following Surgical Technologist Programs: CST https://nbstsa/ or NCCT at time of hire or obtain the certification within 12 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently validated CPR skills preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of agerelated growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
- Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods.
