Apply today! Providence Health Care (PHC) is hiring a Resident Care Manager for LongTerm Care at Langara!

Join our team as an operational leader where youll oversee an interdisciplinary team to deliver highquality patient care. In collaboration with a Physician Leader youll ensure efficient service delivery within a large clinical program while supervising nursing leadership roles. This position offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement staff development and resource management all while fostering strong partnerships to ensure a seamless continuum of care. What You Bring

QUALIFICATIONS

The following qualifications and competencies are required to successfully provide the leadership necessary to fulfill the Mission Vision and Values of Providence Health Care:

  • Masters degree in a related Health Profession
  • Minimum of five 5 years experience at the middle management level in a medium to large health care organization
  • Or an equivalent combination of education training and experience

Your Day to Day:

  1. Lead interdisciplinary teams including CNL(s) and/or Unit Supervisors to ensure patientcentered coordinated care delivery.

  2. Collaborate with Physician Operations Leader to manage efficient care within assigned subunits aligning with program objectives and PHCs mission and values.

  3. Lead process improvements with the team utilizing quality improvement utilization and risk management tools and analyzing data to track progress.

  4. Work with internal and external partners to ensure timely care and address risks incidents complaints and discharge planning.

  5. Ensure clear twoway communication within the team to keep everyone informed of changes affecting care delivery.

  6. Serve as the interface between subunits and corporate/support systems identifying needs and helping to find solutions.

  7. Collaborate with physician partner on budgeting monitoring productivity and analyzing budget variances.

  8. Develop recruitment and retention strategies in partnership with HR supporting clinical goals.

  9. Facilitate orientation programs for new staff ensuring they are equipped with the necessary clinical knowledge and hospital procedures.

  10. Implement and evaluate staffing patterns and schedules to meet patient care needs.

  11. Participate in leadership duties including collective bargaining grievance proceedings and service delivery changes.

  12. Foster an environment that encourages interdisciplinary learning evaluation and continuous improvement.

  13. Collaborate with Professional Practice Leaders and Advanced Practice Nurses.

  14. Perform other related duties as assigned.
