Position Summary:
Combines analytical and data management skills with subject matter expertise in a specific area of knowledge to develop and implement effective master data business processes. Provides direction and shares knowledge with other key stakeholders to influence change. Makes decisions related to master data and supports strategic projects with complex data management needs. Maintains domain expertise and advises internal stakeholders about crossfunctional usage and the impacts of product supplier customer or marketing master data and related processes.
Essential Functions:
Provide information to help make business decisions related to data processes and systems
Shares expertise in master data associated applications and their relationships amongst crossfunctional stakeholders customers tasks and business requirements
Develops training materials and master data process documentation
Responsible for data integrity
Provides problem solving develops system recommendations and leverages technology to advance productivity.
Supports the development implementation and documentation of effective business processes tools and operational reporting which promote quality and efficiency
Executes strategic projects with complex data management needs
Conducts specialized mass data updates involving a large number of records
Adapts analysis and processes to changing business requirements and scenarios
Manages and integrates complex data from multiple sources and formats
May conduct requirements gathering and provides decision support for other key stakeholders
May assist new business impact analysis and opportunities
May provide support for team performance metrics running daily weekly or monthly reporting
May conduct or assist with domain training as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Maintains broad domain knowledge including related processes data sources customers and servicedependent applications
Must have excellent written verbal organizational and communication skills as well as problemsolving capabilities
Ability to multitask prioritize and work independently or within a team environment.
Must have good customer service and time management skills
Must be accurate and detailoriented with strong mathematical skills
Expert spreadsheet knowledge and skills including complex nested formulas macros lookups logical operations links etc.
Equipment / Tools / Technology:
Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet word processing database presentation email and internet software applications and online meeting technologies.
Knowledge of SAP S4 SAP MDG or experience with GFS systems and business processes preferred.
Education & Experience Requirement:
Bachelor Degree in Management Marketing Computer Science Finance Supply Chain or related field
Minimum Years of Experience:
Three years previous buyer supply chain finance accounting or distribution experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience at GFS.
