GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position will perform a variety of building tasks pertaining to the maintenance of installed plumbing and heating systems at the Wyoming State Hospital. The city of Evanston is a small Rocky Mountain community that is a 45minute drive from the worldfamous ski slopes of Park City Utah. The area surrounding Evanston is excellent for recreational activities such as hiking camping fishing biking snowmobiling and crosscountry skiing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function that may be performed at the job level.- Performs complex duties in the repair maintenance installation and repair of plumbing systems and backflow prevention devices in state buildings.
- Recommends energysaving changes.
- Installs maintains and repairs fire sprinkler systems and irrigation systems.
- Oversees the operation of steam boiler plants.
- Works with engineers on new system design troubleshooting testing and startup of new systems.
- Works carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections.
Qualifications
PREFERENCES:
Preference will be given to those with plumbing experience.
KNOWLEDGE:- Thorough knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repairs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience Substitution:
34 years of progressive work experience (typically in Plumbing) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Plumber

01 year of progressive work experience (typically in Plumbing) with acquired knowledge at the level of a PlumberNecessary Special Requirements
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to fit in tight spaces.
NOTES:- FLSA: NonExempt
- A background check including fingerprinting will be completed through the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation the Wyoming Department of Family Services and the F.B.I. for every successful applicant.
- Preemployment drug and alcohol testing will be conducted on safetysensitive positions. Drug testing will be completed on any position if reasonable suspicion exists.
- The Wyoming State Hospital uses EVerify an Internetbased system to confirm the eligibility of all newly hired employees to work in the United States.
