Job Summary/Description:
First Alert 6 is searching for a skilled journalist to join our newsroom as a weekend anchor/MMJ. We are looking for a journalist who is as passionate about investigating and storytelling as they are about anchoring.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Onair delivery of news
Ability to help producers make good content decisions
Aggressive breaking news coverage
Enterprising story ideas that matter to our viewers
Executing all aspects of storytelling
Contributing content to station social media platforms
Public appearances on behalf of the station
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors degree in communication journalism or related field
Ability to deliver news content in a clear and professional manner
Strong writing and communication skills
At least two years of experience as a television anchor or reporter.
