Job Description
AWS Solutions provides horizontal and industry vertical applications for business users with the same ondemand scalability reliability payasyougo pricing and machine learning expertise that drive AWS services. The AWS Solutions group includes services such as Amazon Connect (a costeffective cloud contact center) our End User Computing (including Amazon Workspaces AppStream etc. Marketing Tech (Amazon Pinpoint) and Autonomous Checkout and Biometric Identity Services (Just Walk Out Amazon One) for retail sports travel and other verticals.
AWS Clean Rooms is a recently launched analytics service that helps customers and their partners more easily and securely analyze their combined datasetswithout sharing or revealing underlying data with each other.
Were looking for a Software Engineer to join AWS Clean Rooms to build scalable solutions that delight customers. Youll work at the intersection of cloud analytics privacy and security to provide customers with a broad set of data controls that help protect sensitive data including query controls query output restrictions query logging and cryptographic computing tools.
Our team is perfect for individuals looking to work in a dynamic startup like environment that also leverages the resources of Amazon. Similar to a startup our engineers will wear many hats move fast and have a direct connection between their work and our customer experience/products profitability. The ideal candidate should have experience with building distributed systems in AWS. Youll build on top of foundational AWS services such as Lambda Step Functions API Gateway and DynamoDB to deliver a simple and cost effective solution for customers worldwide. 3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
