Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Professor of Radiology to join our faculty in Wayanad. This position is ideal for a fresher with 0 to 1 year of experience who holds MD or DNB in Diagnostic Radiology. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in educating future healthcare professionals and contributing to the research efforts of the department.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have a degree in Diagnostic Radiology (MD or DNB) with an exceptional understanding of the field. (Mandatory skill)
- Proven ability to interpret various radiology imaging techniques accurately and effectively.
- Experience in medical education with a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students.
- Published research in radiology or related fields showcasing analytical and innovative thinking.
- Competency in clinical teaching with the ability to conduct detailed training sessions for aspiring radiologists.
- Possession of an MBBS degree laying a strong foundation in medical sciences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with students and colleagues.
- Motivation to engage in continuous professional development and contribute to academic research work.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct lectures seminars and practicals for undergraduate and postgraduate students in radiology.
- Supervise and mentor students guiding their research and clinical practice in radiology.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curricular planning curriculum development and assessment.
- Participate in departmental meetings to contribute to the departments goals and initiatives.
- Engage in research activities with a commitment to publish findings in reputable journals.
- Attend and participate in continuous professional development sessions and conferences.
- Perform any additional academicrelated duties as assigned by the head of the department.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards and maintenance of academic integrity in all activities.
