Syntelligent is seeking a fulltimeCriminal Intelligence Analystfor fulltime salaried positions supporting the DHS FPS Intelligence Analysis Division.
Location: Springfield VA.
Schedule: Day/ MF
Anticipated Salary Range: $70000$72000
Responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Provide intelligence services related to the analysis processing development and distribution of strategic and criminal intelligence supporting Federal Protective Services operations.

- Work experience demonstrating ability to perform strategic operational and tactical analysis as required based on raw intelligence collected from a variety of sources i.e. INTs
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to and apply IC analytic tradecraft standards (e.g. ICDS
- Working knowledge of (preferably handson experience with) databases and software programs used in the intelligence environment including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite M3 TAC HOTR Google Earth Intelink National Exploitation System Gemini MIDB GCCSJ various message handling systems.
- Excellent oral writing and coordination skills to communicate factual information clearly and concisely both orally and in writing often under pressure and tight deadlines that meets or exceeds established analytical standards.
- (REQUIRED) Current Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Certification (or higher DIE Certification) or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire TS/SCI
Mental Requirements: Must be able to multitask and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for longperiods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution preferred in International Studies Intelligence Homeland Security Criminal Justice or other related concentration.
- Prior experience performing OpenSource Collection
- Criminal Intelligence analysis experience
- Experience working with DHS data sources
- Knowledge of the DHS FPS intelligence authorities DHS component missions and the role of FPS in supporting the DHS Intelligence Enterprise; overall FPS intelligence research analysis and production process
- Specific knowledge of title 18 authorities
- Knowledge of multiple opensource areas including surface deep and dark web.
- Knowledge of multiple collection techniques or approaches
- Knowledge of developing a collection plan and dissemination practices.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office suite common OpenSource tools and DHS data systems.
- Experience working researching and providing evaluations for Intelligence Information Reports (IIR)
