Position Summary
Pet Care Plus located at 350 N Laflin St. prides itself on providing toptier services including boarding daycare grooming and retail in a safe and fun environment for pets and their parents. The AGM along with the General Manager plays a key leadership role ensuring exceptional pet care services while driving business success. This individual will work with the General Manager (GM) to oversee daily operations manage team performance and cultivate a positive client experience. The ideal candidate will be a highenergy sociable and resultsdriven leader who thrives in a fastpaced teamoriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing all departments ensuring seamless daily operations across boarding daycare grooming bathing taxi retail and administration.
Implement operational policies and procedures to drive efficiency.
Oversee safety and sanitation standards in compliance with industry best practices.
Participate in an oncall rotation ensuring business continuity outside normal hours.
Motivate a team of 2030 employees fostering a culture of engagement and accountability.
Take part in recruitment onboarding and employee retention.
Assist in performance evaluations 30day 90day and annual reviews) and develop training plans to enhance team skills.
Develop relationships with pet parents and resolve escalated client concerns with professionalism.
Ensure the facility remains clean safe and wellmaintained at all times.
Foster teamwork and inspire performance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role preferably in hospitality or pet care.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Proven ability to lead large teams 2030 employees) and manage multiple projects.
Experience with operational software (e.g. Gingr) and business tools (Microsoft Office P&L management).
Outgoing persuasive and motivational leadership style.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Passion for animals and commitment to pet care excellence.
Ability to engage teams and drive performance.
Comfortable in a fastpaced resultsdriven environment.

Working Conditions
Availability for 45 hours per week including one weekend day and some holidays.
Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes breeds and temperaments.
Required to drive company vehicles for emergencies and marketing events.
Onsite presence required during peak periods (holidays busy seasons).
