This is a seasonal position approximately MaySeptember. This position requires a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the club and its members.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of the food and beverage department
• Assumes 100 responsibility for quality of products served
• Direct and assist with setup preparation and of special events
• Assist the General Manager in supervising scheduling and developing bartenders cooks and beverage cart attendants
• Maintain cost controls and conduct monthly inventory
• Follow the PO buying process for food and beverage ordering
• Train front line staff on quality assurance and appropriate guest service
• Perform daily walkthroughs to ensure full compliance with the Department of Health regulations
• Comply with applicable health alcoholic beverage fire and other local/state laws
• Follow correct closing procedures and appropriate money handling practices (we will be cashless).
• Prepares food and tends bar as needed
• Ensures that high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout the kitchen and bar at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Education and Experience Requirements

• Must have 12 years of supervisory experience
• Must have strong sales orientation
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of pertinent health regulations
• Must have food and beverage
• Must have strong business aptitude
• Must have strong service orientation
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be highly organized efficient and detailoriented
• Must have exceptional interpersonal skills

Working Conditions

• Physical activity including long periods 68 hours) of standing walking bending and scooping
• The employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and hands
• The employee occasionally will be required to lift up to 50lbs.
• Use of sight reading wrist movement to serve meals and beverages operate food service equipment and clean food service areas
• Specific vision abilities include close distance color and peripheral vision and depth perception
• Noise level is typically moderate
• Work weekends and holidays
