The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist 5 to serve as the team lead for the Procurement Sprint Team providing leadership and oversight for complex construction procurements across the state. This position plays a key role in delivering critical infrastructure by supporting structured and consistent procurement practices. As part of DOT&PFs Procurement Sprint Team your work will contribute to the successful delivery of projects that meet the States goals for timeliness quality and compliance.
Depending on the selected applicant this position can be located in Fairbanks Anchorage or Juneau. Salary is listed below:
Anchorage: $3432.00 / biweekly
Fairbanks: $3535.20/ biweeklyJuneau: $3604.00 / biweeklyWhat You Will Be Doing:
The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist 5 to serve as team lead for the Procurement Sprint Team providing leadership and oversight for complex construction procurements across the state.
You will support procurement efforts for the Alaska International Airport System Division of Facilities Services and other priority areas that require timely consistent and wellorganized procurement actions. This role ensures procurement work aligns with agency needs and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a small team executing construction and professional services procurements.
- Guide the development of procurement documents and processes related to CMGC IDIQ DesignBuild and Progressive DesignBuild.
- Serve as a liaison to executive leadership for projects requiring elevated procurement support.
- Coordinate internal reviews help resolve contracting questions and support consistency across procurement actions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable procurement statutes and regulations.
- Oversee use of Artificial Intelligence tools in document drafting and review to improve consistency and efficiency across the team.
