The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is looking for a Web Developer with good customer service and collaboration skills to work with various Information Technology (IT) and agency teams to develop and maintain web services and applications. Also provides technical assistance in the maintenance of Internet and Intranet websites associated with ADCRR.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona based upon the departments business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Creates modifies web files and applications in conjunction with web standards
Develops troubleshoots and assists local web staff with servers scripts and other technical problems
Plans tests and implements webenabled applications and software patches in support of the agency
Works with internal and external resources to implement and maintain websites
Prepares reports and assists with development implementation plans
Initiates and enforces web standards throughout the Departments Intranet and Internet websites
Attends current industry training and seminars
Drives on State business
Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
Knowledge of:
Web programming languages including but not limited to HyperText Markup Language (HTML) Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) Active Server Page (ASP) C# and eXtensible Markup Language (XML)
Graphic design tools
Enterprise Relational Databases such as My Structured Query Language (MYSQL) and Oracle
Web development software and analysis tools
Principles and techniques of application lifecycle management
Project management life cycle and the role of technical specialist in a project
English to include spelling sentence structure and grammar
Skill in:
Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships
Customer service
Time management
Identifying and resolving production problems
Interpreting and understanding functional requirements
Prioritizing workload
Project management and implementation
Written and verbal communication
Technical troubleshooting and problem solving
Report preparation and typing
Ability to:
Learn and adhere to ADCRR policies and procedures
Analyze diagnose and develop effective solutions to problems related to operating and network systems

Consult on issues and requests from endusers
Two 2 to four 4 years of experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop Dreamweaver
Knowledge of PHP Hypertext Preprocessor) and SSI (Server Side Includes)
Experience in securing websites and web applications using industry best practices
with supporting Sharepoint Visual Studio ASP Notepad Fiddler and Drupal
Knowledge of waterfall and Agile project management
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid classappropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C. R210207.11.
In an effort to maintain a safe environment all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
