WHAT WE OFFER
- 35hour workweek schedule(possible flexible work options i.e. 4day work week (position based)

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Concerts team is responsible for the distribution of royalties earned via live performances across Canada. You will be assisting in many aspects of that process including but not limited to researching concerts and venues collecting setlists identifying songs so that the appropriate songwriters and publishers receive compensation etc.
WHAT YOULL DO / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct concert research (identify performers venues promoters etc.
- Assist with work identification including foreign artists catalogs.
- Assist with unidentified work research (this involves determining who the songwriters/publishers of the works are)
- Assist with incoming Concert claims from SOCAN members
- Prepare/setup concerts for distribution in our system.
- Add foreign music repertoire to SOCAN database.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING / QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Currently enrolled in postsecondary education.
- Available to work 35 hours a week May through August.
- Ability to manage workload effectively including planning organizing prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) skills.
- Dynamic energetic and selfmotivated.
