Job Description
The Release Manager (RM) team part of Amazons BuilderWorks organization is responsible for developing technologies that enable Amazon software application teams to dynamically change software configurations and behaviors safely and quickly with minimal operational disruption.
Our software powers mission critical applications across Amazon including the retail website order fulfillment Alexa Kindle Amazon Video Prime Grocery and others. If you want to be part of a team that makes a difference on an enormous stage this is it!
Our team is growing and we are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer (SDE2 to help launch new features. As a SDE2 you will contribute to the design development testing and operations of the Release Manager service.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114800/year up to $191800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
